We returned to the UK to continue our Great British Summer of Sport at Wembley Stadium.
Anna
Leigh Leopards (nee Centurions) also gained a second new fan with the happy coincidence that my daughter Anna had arrived in the country two days before the final and is a rugby league fan herself.
Leigh Win!
After a couple of failed attempts, Leigh put one over for a drop goal to seal victory and mayhem ensued. Leigh residents in the stadium, back at home in Leigh and languishing on the M1, went into delirium.
